Compare workplace coverage with Medicare
Use this when someone asks whether Medicare is better or cheaper than their employer insurance, wants a workplace-versus-Medicare comparison, or asks whether to start/delay Part B while working. Call with known facts even when costs, dates or the Medicare path are missing. goal=enrollment_timing reviews age-65 timing only; coverage_value coordinates timing, reported employer costs and the selected MA or Medigap/Part D ranking. It runs the existing ranker once inputs are ready, not just a plan search. Ask the returned next_action question, then reuse comparison_context with only the person’s changes. Keep identity choices and source warnings; never invent dates, eligibility, doctors, medications, pharmacy or Medicaid answers. Empty care lists require explicit omission. Unknown employer creditability does not block supported ranking. Keep employer and Medicare cost scopes separate; results are not total savings or a stay/switch verdict. Use calculate_medicare_enrollment_deadlines for other specific calendars, summarize_reported_employer_costs for arithmetic only, and search_medicare_advantage_plans for availability browsing. Do not use for general education, website navigation, account saving or enrollment. Stop on refusal; nothing is saved. Keep chat brief; choices in UI.
